The Long Trainings can be taken in 6, 7 or 10 months. The student follows the entire Long Training acquire a comprehensive expertise in all make up techniques: beauty, fashion, cinema, television, theater, and artistic.

Beauty / Fashion – Cinema / TV / FX (6 months)

Who is this training course for?
This formation is for people seeking to learn the fundamental principles of makeup techniques.

Description
The makeup techniques taught relate to the following areas:
- Beauty enhancement,
- Photography,
- Fashion,
- Cinema (set, character transformation, level 1 special effects),
- Television.
Every student will have access to the services provided by the Studio and the ACADEMY’s photographer, so that they can develop their portfolio in preparation not only for the final exam but also for their subsequent professional careers. The final exam will be adjudicated by specialists, who will reward all successful students with a certificate of professional competence.

Deposit payable upon registering, to confirm participation on the course: 1,750 € Balance to be paid no later than 10 days before the start of the course: 4,100 € Methods of payment accepted: debit/credit card, cash, bank transfer. - Essential skin concepts
- Anatomy and morphological studies of different faces
- Colorimetry
- The make-up artist’s approach
- Complexion, eye, mouth and eyebrow make-up
- Shading techniques, light and shadow techniques
- Corrective make-up techniques (concealing scars etc.)
- Make-up: from the most natural to the most sophisticated
- Make-up for mature skin, bridal and ethnic make-up (dark and Asian skin)
- Lighting concepts
- History of make-up from Antiquity to the present day
- Make-up techniques for photography
- Make-up techniques for the catwalk (Showrooms, Haute Couture and Designers)
- A look back at make-up around the world
- Practical advice for adapting the techniques taught to different professional contexts (photo shoots, fashion shows, weddings, etc.)

Cinema / TV / Special Effects
- Approach and organization on television sets
- Lighting concepts and techniques on set (outside, day and night)
- Make-up for men and women (natural, corrective and sophisticated)
- Make-up for television: presenter, reporter and guest sets
- Music video make-up for singers and dancers
- Progressive aging for films (using make-up products and latex)
- Fitting hairpieces
- Products for recreating special effects on the skin (blood, latex, glue, artificial flesh, etc.)
- Use in different contexts: cinema, TV, etc.
- Grazes, scratches, bruises, injuries
- Particular skin features (diseases, corpse-like appearance, textures, etc.)
- First, second and third degree burns
- Explosions, strangulation marks, bullet wounds
- Applying and making up small prosthetics

Theater / Stage
- The world of the stage: theater, opera, dance, circus, etc.
- Lighting concepts adapted to the stage
- Use of shadow and light to transform a face
- Using a character to create emotion (joy, anger, sadness, etc.)

This formation is for people seeking to learn the fundamental principles of makeup techniques.

The makeup techniques taught relate to the following areas:

- Artistic make up (face & body painting)
Throughout the module, various professionals in the sector such as specialist makeup artists, photographers, cinematographers, wigmakers, and hairstylists, will give conferences and demonstrations, and pass on their expertise. Students will also gain practical experience through the many external internships on offer, designed to supplement their training.
