Paris - October 1st 2006 - Dany Sanz is the official make up artist for the Christophe Guillarmé fashion show at the Bristol l
Young fashion designer Christophe Guillarmé, aged 28, presented his 16th collection for the Spring/Summer 2007 season. Entitled ‘Toxic Flowers’ the show took place at the Hotel Bristol in Paris. The style: « A woman in a long dress saunters across the alcove with a catlike stride. The boudoir is redolent with flowers…. ». When it came to creating make up for his fashions, Christophe Guillarmé turned to Dany Sanz. Already renowned for her audacious color choices, Sanz created for the occasion 10 make up looks in perfect harmony with the designer’s Spring/Summer 2007 fashions: Eyelids dressed in fuchsia, purple and black echoed the vibrant hues of Guillarmé’s dresses. A porcelain complexion, sculpted cheekbones and delicate lips were spellbinding. Dany Sanz also created the make up for scenographer Mia Frye, who generously lent her talents to Christophe Guillarmé to orchestrate his show.

Paris - September 14th, 15th and 16th 2006 - Make Up For Ever is the proud partner of the Découflé costume show
Make Up For Ever proudly participated in the theater costume show orchestrated by the celebrated French dancer and choreographer Philippe Découflé. Known to the general public since the Olympic Games at Albertville, Découflé beings his whimsical signature style to live spectacles with a phantasmagorical choreography that has earned him a singular place in the world of contemporary dance. This runway show was conceived as an echo to the opening of Centre National du Costume de Scène (National Center for Theater Costumes) in the Paris region. The costumes presented were for the most part theatrical gems created by the art’s top craftsmen, including couturiers, tailors, lace workers, feather workers and others…
The show was held outside in front of the Géode cinema in Paris (19th arrondissement), where spectators admired a wide array of theater costumes that make up the wealth of the archives at the Opéra National de Paris and the Comédie Française. More than 100 artistic make up looks were created and adapted to each costume and the universe it represented. From diaphanous, white and sparkly finishes to purple-red lips, deepest black body paint and all manner of artifice, this lively farandole of colors and textures made for an extraordinary fashion show!
