Special Effects

Special effects are used in movies for all the horror scenes, but also for minor to serious accidents.
Special effects make-up can become a speciality for a make-up artist, as it requires very specific technical skills. The most frequently used products are artificial blood and latex to create incredibly realistic injuries or burns when the products are used skilfully.
In another field, first-aid workers also use special effects to reproduce wounds on training dummies, to practice recognizing and treating injuries.
