1. Our Brand

MAKE UP FOR EVER is the cult brand of professional makeup artists - now available to the public – that creates high performance cosmetic products and accessories for all needs and for all complexions.

Thanks to our MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy, our Make Up School and our training expertise, we are able to pass on our techniques, our passion and our love for make up.

We are a brand used backstage by professional makeup artists and all makeup lovers around the world to shine either on stage or in everyday life.

The Brand’s success has grown steadily since its creation in 1984 due in part to the technical sophistication of its products and thanks to a global network of professional makeup artists developed by Dany.

Today, those passionate about our Brand constitute a large community spanning the globe that continues to support our development through its commitment and loyalty.

3. Our global presence

With over 1200 employees around the world and more than 300 in France, MAKE UP FOR EVER is first and foremost an international brand.

Present in over 50 countries, MAKE UP FOR EVER has enjoyed marked success notably in the following regions: the United States, China, Korea, Europe and the Middle East.

Our employees in France are spread across several offices in Paris and its suburbs, where our manufacturing site is located. A portion of our sales force is also deployed throughout the country in order to promote local sales of our products. One of our Parisian offices is a location rich with history: n° 5 rue de la Boétie, the Brand’s headquarters and also where the very first products were created and which continues to be a reference for professionals.

In addition to our Parisian boutiques, MAKE UP FOR EVER products are also distributed throughout the entire Sephora network.

4. A LVMH Group Brand

LVMH, the world’s leading Luxury group, boasts over 60 Houses across various sectors of activity. Today, more than 10 of those Houses are part of the perfume and cosmetics sector which MAKE UP FOR EVER joined in 1999.

5. Our Professions

MAKE UP FOR EVER is comprised of a wide variety of professions, each essential in its contribution to the life of a product: from its creation (composition, R&D, marketing development) to its commercialization (sales, logistics, operational marketing) by way of the transmission of Dany’s makeup expertise (International Training, Academy...).

In addition to the professions you can find throughout the organization, MAKE UP FOR EVER has a wealth of artists – seasoned makeup artists possessing true product sensitivity and backstage experience – who are at the heart of what we do. All departments work in close coordination with one another, whether it is research and development, visual creation, marketing...

Over the last five years, MAKE UP FOR EVER has experienced strong growth to the point that many new positions have been created and various departments have built up their staff to stay on top of the evolution.

It has also been an opportunity to help employees evolve internally: MAKE UP FOR EVER favors internal promotions and defines real career paths within the organization. As such, a makeup artist can advance to a training position, a salesperson can transition to become an Assistant Manager then Manager of a boutique, and a young graduate can become a manager.

Upon their arrival in the organization, each employee receives training on our Brand, entitled “Brand Induction”, which introduces them to the many facets of MAKE UP FOR EVER: its values, history, operations...
