Enter the creation and transformation atmosphere of a MAKE UP FOR EVER photo shoot.

Terry slowly transformed into a woman of another era… The petrol blue color on her eyelids was beautiful…

A day on set always starts off in a creative excitement, what the model looks like, the makeup, the lights…
I never remember the models names but their faces stay in my head and during the makeup session they turn into novel or film heroes, they take on roles that make them suddenly different and enigmatic.

For the Fall 2013 photo shoot, I remember Terry’s diaphanous face. A Polish girl who, as soon as I saw her, reminded me of David Lynch’s never ending but captivating films.

Once in Dany Sanz and Kim’s hands, the hairdresser, Terry slowly transformed into a woman of another era… The Petrol Blue color on her eyelids was beautiful… In the small booth with Dany, I tried to capture each step of the makeup, I did my best to be discreet but it’s not always easy… Dany has a great sense of humor so I always want to laugh!

After the makeup with Dany, it’s Laurence, the photographer’s turn to add the final touch to the set and the lights… the magic of the lights transforms again the model in front of our eyes!
