GOLD ICONE The Klimt Woman reinterpreted by DANY SANZ She is a feisty committed female artist. This muse of an artistic revolution is at the heart of an allegorical scene directly inspired by the work of Viennese artist Gustav Klimt, considered to be "the painter of women". Proud and sensual, her universe is made out of fragments of pure gold, luminous pigments, asymmetrical compositions, without depth or perspective and so rich in shimmering ornamentation to be almost oppressive. Voluptuous black curls contrast with her fair complexion, symbol of an aristocratic heritage. Her deep, frank eyes are outlined in black and gold in echo of the background. Her shiny, slightly pink lips add a finishing note of softness and lightness to this reinterpreted pictorial representation.
