Compact Modellers

The Sculpting Kit is a pack of two compact powders to shape and alter the size of the face by contrasting light and shadow. Using the dark shade in the hollows reduces the size of the face, while the light shade is applied to prominent features, helping accentuate them. Professional makeup artists use them to make a face more attractive or to transform the performer (change personality or age, show fatigue, etc.).

Formule

Mineral powders : ensure pigments are evenly distributed. Kaolin based talc : for long-lasting wear. Ester : the non-greasy feel improves skin comfort. Dermatologically tested.

Application

Use two brushes, one for the paler shade and one for the darker one. Use the pale color on prominent relief areas and the darker color in the hollows. Blend the colors into one another to even out the result and give a natural finish.

Conseil

Light and shadows are the fundamental basis of all make-up. Professional make-up artists use them to make faces perfect, but also to transform and change actors' character depending on their role (aging effects, etc.). The two colors are designed to create imperceptible shadows, even on screen, and to sculpt the face, adding relief to look younger or more sophisticated. This classic backstage technique is so successful that actors and models can't resist 'borrowing' a little after they've taken their make-up off to try the effects themselves.
