Bernhard Willhelm A/W 12/13
Last Saturday afternoon at the Trianon in Paris, MAKE UP FOR EVER joined and supported the unconventional and extravagant German fashion designer, Bernhard Willhelm for his Autumn/Winter 2012/2013 men’s show.
For this experimental collection Bernhard Willhelm, as he puts it, he found his inspiration in Malibu 92, the 90s, his teenagehood, the motorway, travelling, and … “cock”!
The show was arty and colorful revealing blue collar workers like painters and construction workers, bearded athletes, and gypsy-hippy types, wearing stringy mohair sweaters, tiger and zebra motifs, camouflage print jackets, torn sweatsuits, flower necklaces, ragged Bermudas, sock hair bands…and bananas!
MAKE UP FOR EVER’s pro makeup artist joined in and played the game by creating makeup designs in harmony with this leading-edge collection. Colors were bold and used in a monochrome way, featuring splash effects, streaks of color, graphic eyeliners.
