Cynthia Rowley NYFW A/W 2012/13
MAKE UP FOR EVER was once again backstage at the NY FW creating the makeup look for Cynthia Rowley's Fall 2012 show.
Inspired by the women of the 40s, MAKE UP FOR EVER Alliance Artist Lottie designed a minimal but structural look, beautiful but not too pretty as she describes it. Nothing to take away from the collection that showed turtle shell print shirts, skirts, dresses, and pants, head-to-toe denim-look, wool looks, sweater dresses, jumpsuits, and a fur lined jacket, and shades such as vermillion reds and oranges.
The makeup is all about nice fresh dewy skin with bare lips and structured groomed eyebrows.
COMPLEXION
Lottie first mixed HD Foundation with Uplight #12. She applied this mixture all over, which gave the models a flawless dewy canvas. To finish the look and set the makeup, she used the HD Powder.
BROWS
Lottie brushed the brows upwards to create a fluffy appearance. For added fullness, she filled in individual hairs with a Brow Pencil and our Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector. The brows were then kept in place using the Brow Seal.
LIPS
The lips were supple and hydrated thanks to the Moisturizing Lip Balm.
