MAKE UP FOR EVER was thrilled to be a part of the Abu Dhabi Film Festival which opened on October 13th, 2011. Presented each October by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) the event is committed to curating exceptional programs to engage and educate the local community, inspire filmmakers and nurture the growth of the regional film industry. MAKE UP FOR EVER’s implication was noticeable from the VIP makeup suite to the red carpet to the incredible bodypainting show that took place at the gala following the opening ceremonies.
Stars, jury members and VIPs were invited to get their makeup done and meet the brand’s makeup experts such as Julia Berdugo and David Hernandez at the exclusive MAKE UP FOR EVER suite located in the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr Hotel. The suite was filled to the brim up until the last minute following up to the festival’s official opening!
After the projection of the opening film and a special thank you to Dany Sanz and MAKE UP FOR EVER, guests were invited to the Saker Ballroom of the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr to fête the festival and to discover the artistic world of MAKE UP FOR EVER… where an incredible movie themed bodypainting show took place. The art of Ludovic Lasson, Makka Elonheimo and David Arbid, to name a few, wowed the entire crowd who were truly under the MAKE UP FOR EVER spell for the rest of the evening and the festival!
