Make Up For Ever Open 2012
Montreuil, France : For the 2nd year in a row, the French National Swimming Federation trusted MAKE UP FOR EVER for this year’s synchronized swimming competition, the MAKE UP FOR EVER OPEN.
The international event was held near Paris from January 27th - 29th, 2012. The competition showcased the compelling alliance between sport and beauty that gave MAKE UP FOR EVER the opportunity to support this incredible sport. The event was also the ideal venue for MAKE UP FOR EVER to put its Aqua range to the ultimate test.
For this second edition, MAKE UP FOR EVER created the makeup for the french swimmers under the responsability of Julie Dupy, MAKE UP FOR EVER’s Pro Relations Manager. MAKE UP FOR EVER professional artists drew their inspiration directly from the team’s suits and used the brand’s Aqua products for their looks. A MAKE UP FOR EVER stand was also present, enabling visitors and swimmers to discover and test the Aqua range for themselves.
If synchronized swimming is a technical discipline, it is nonetheless artistic, largely because of the makeup. In the extreme conditions of water ballet, colors and textures must remain flawless throughout the show. An absolute reference in long-lasting makeup, MAKE UP FOR EVER offers a palette of long-lasting and waterproof products with spectacular effects. This has been officialy recognized in the synchronized swimming world, both at the MAKE UP FOR EVER OPEN and in pools worldwide.
