LET'S MEET JULIA

Born in Montréal, CANADA, Julia grew up in an artistic household; both her parents worked in artistic or fashion-oriented fields. Julia is bilingual in French and English. It was at 15 years old that she discovered that she had a talent, and a desire, to work in the makeup industry. She decided to pursue this dream by enrolling in Complexions International School in Toronto, followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History and Visual Arts at Concordia University in Montreal.

Julia began at MAKE UP FOR EVER in 2010; a whirlwind experience that she describes as “an exciting new adventure in which every day is filled with new techniques and the chance to work with the highest level of professional products! Working with Dany has been an incredible experience for me so far – I admire what she does very much and everything that she has accomplished is impressive”.
She is currently an International Trainer and Makeup Artist, one of her many responsibilities includes creating the Training Manuals as well as trains our trainers to hosting different types of pro events.
She is brought to travel in all corners of the World from Los Angeles to Hong Kong, New York to Dubai.

JULIA's FAVORITE LIP PRODUCTS:

" My favorite MAKE UP FOR EVER lip product must be the new Rouge Artist Natural lipstick.
And shades #N40 is probable my favorite!!! Whatever the weather, I wear it. It makes me feel like it’s summer all year round. Sometimes I don’t hesitate to apply Lab Shine D12 for a more pinky look or S0 for a more nude look.

The shades #N2 or #N5 are the best nude shades, I like to use them not only on my lips but also on my eyelids or cheekbones when I want a dewy finish. I dab them on with my fingers and there you go.

An let’s no forget our devilish/ mysterious side. This is where the Rouge Artist Intense comes in. I absolutely adore shade #48, it makes me feel so sultry like a Hollywood star. I pair it with Aqua Lip #12 to create extra precise and defined lips.
My pro tip: If you want to ensure that your lipstick does not feather, start with the Lip Line Perfector just outside your natural line of your lips and follow with the Aqua Lip and Rouge Artist Intense lipstick. "
