Mara Hoffman NYFW A/W 2012/13
During this year's NYFW Fall, our Alliance Makeup Artist Lottie served as key makeup artist for Mara Hoffman’s F/W 2012 show as well as others. For this Shaman Cowgirl, desert journey collection, Lottie drew her inspiration from the 90s and created a sun-kissed skin with bronze-metallic highlights for a nomadic desert-like feel.

COMPLEXION
Lottie first applied HD Invisible Cover Foundation to give the models a flawless canvas, and then sculpted the cheeks using Mat Bronze on the hollows with the 55N Brush. For a well-blended, sun kissed glow she then applied Shine On Powder from the top of the cheeks to the temples. To remove excess shine, she used HD Microfinish Powder in the T-Zone area.
EYES
The eyes were shaded using Eye Shadow #17 (Drak Brown) and Aqua Cream #14 (Satin Brown). She then blended the shadows with Star Powder #922 (Copper Gold), #930 (Bronze Brown), and #946 (Iridescent Neutral Beige). For a metallic pop, Lottie used a wet brush and applied Metal Powder #2 (Maize Gold) to the corner of the eyes, and then lined inside the waterlines with Kohl Pencil #9 (Matte Mocha Brown). She finished the eyes with a thick coat of Smoky Lash mascara.
EYEBROWS
Lottie applied Brow Seal for a simple yet groomed brow.
LIPS
A touch of Glossy Full #10 (Peachy Pink) was added to the lips to create a natural look with shine.
