Zuhair Murad – Couture Collection SS/2011

For his new spring summer collection 2011, Zuhair Murad illustrates all the desert vocabulary. The lines of dunes are transcribed in voluptuous drapes, and the palm groves in metallic embroideries. Inspired by African drawings, capes, veils, and embroideries become a symphony of vaporous textures, varying between Charmeuse and Chiffon, lace and silk.

The pantone is in the shades of sand, gold and beige, indigo and green translating the dried oasis dream colours.

For this fashion show, MAKE UP FOR EVER created a beautiful nude make up look, inspired by the touareg.
