Step by Step

Learn how to give a distinctly lifted effect to your eyes and enhance your eye shape with the Classic Lift technique.

Steps 2 / 8:

Apply a light shade over the entire eyelid. Products used in photo: Eye Shadow Matte, Shader Brush Alternative products: Eye Shadow Satiny, Eye Shadow Iridescent, Diamond Shadow, Star Powder, Aqua Cream, Aqua Shadow Don't be afraid to dare new color harmonies

Steps 3 / 8:

Using a dark shade, apply a liner along the upper and lower lash line form the outer corner, and glide it towards the inner corner, making the line thinker at the outer corner. Steps 4 / 8:

Blend the dark shade slightly from the outer corner of the lower lash line in the direction to the temples and also blend it slightly on the upper lash line. Products used in photo: Precision Shader Brush  

Steps 5 / 8:

Apply a dark shade on top of your previous applied shade and on the outer corner of your eyelid. Blend the shadow into the crease no longer then the outer 2 / 3rd of the eye to define the crease. Steps 6 / 8:

Apply a medium shade : On the upper eyelid, in between the light and the dark shade. Blend it slightly into the light color just above the crease. Blend it slightly into your dark shade which is in the crease. On the lower eyelid, next to the lash line. Steps 7 / 8:

Steps 8 / 8: Result

True Color

I love these shadows. They are true to color and wear like a dream. Some of my most favorite shades are #92, 156, 164, 165, 04, and 75. I also use these as a blush, highlight and contour.
