What does makeup represent for you?

Makeup for me first and foremost represents an instant boost of confidence. I mean I don’t know anyone who doesn’t feel prettier with makeup on. Makeup is also a way of being creative. It’s like drawing a picture.

How would you describe your personality?

I feel like I’m a mix of a lot of things. I would say I’m a pretty tough girl, I don’t cry very much. In public I’m very well composed but when you get to know me you’d probably discover I’m a pretty weird person with a unique sense of humor. I’m definitely more of an introvert and sometimes I like to just be alone with my own thoughts and imagination. Hmm what else? I read a lot and follow politics, economics and I admire revolutionary people and events.

What do you like the most about the ARTY collection?

The Arty collection is all about colour and creativity. It’s about expressing you inner child and having fun. The colour of Artist Lip Ink is incredibly vibrant. It goes on as a gel but then dries into a beautiful matte finish. It does not come off AT ALL, like I’ve eaten steak and it didn’t move. For me that’s important especially when wearing a red. The packaging and brush are so special, they make you feel like a geisha.

Do you have special tips to apply the products?

Practice makes perfect! I am still working on having a very precise hand, still working on that thin wing liner girl! However I found the product is very user friendly even though at first glance it seems like something only a makeup artist would use. I recommend having a cotton bud dipped in remover handy if you go outside of the borders. Take your time and draw things on your arm with it. The more you use it the easier it becomes. It’s like drawing a picture!
