From the Sketch to the Look

Dany Sanz shares with us her inspiration of the PRO BRONZE FUSION look.

For the launch of PRO BRONZE FUSION, the new bronzer compact powder, Dany Sanz, Creator and Artistic Director of MAKE UP FOR EVER, was inspired by the infinite nuances of bronze: from golden to copper bronze, this entire palette of this new bronzer is created to showcase a magnetically beautiful woman.

The starting point is always the same for each launch, Dany Sanz gets her inspiration in her so-loved office, 5 rue de la Boétie in Paris, where she imagines the new products and collections. She creates a quick sketch of the look and the makeup artist of her team draw a Face & Body chart, to have a closest idea of the final look. And finally, they reproduce the makeup on the model during the campaign shooting.

This time, the model has a sculpted, naturally tanned and luminous complexion punctuated by a few golden notes on the lips, eyes and eyebrows. Waves on her décolleté are seamlessly incorporated into the composition of the image that invites to a journey.

It is a graphic interpretation reminiscent of dunes in a sun-infused universe.

Learn how to reproduce the body painting Step by Step:

1. Even out skin tone in the décolleté with Face & Body.
For a sun-kissed glow, choose a slightly darker shade of Face & Body.
2. Cut out a wave shape from a piece of paper to make a stencil.
Firmly place the stencil over the décolleté.
3. Apply Metal Powder #01 over the stencil using a powder brush #126 or powder puff.

And discover the different steps of the PRO BONZE FUSION look.
