ABOUT JOE DULUDE II
Joe garnered acclaim for his makeup design in the Tony Award-¬winning musical, Wicked, and continues to lend his skills to Broadway, Off-Broadway and West End productions (SpongeBob the Musical, Torch Song Trilogy, Summer, Sunday in the Park with George, Anastasia, Allegiance, Dr. Zhivago, On the Town and many more). His work has also appeared in a wide range of television and film, including Jesus Christ Superstar: Live on NBC, Detroit, The Discovery, Ghostbusters, and Manchester by the Sea.  Currently, Joe is a teacher of theatrical makeup at Pace University, Muhlenberg College and the Hartt School as well as educating students abroad in São Paulo and London. He presents worldwide on behalf of The Powder Group, Kryolan and The Makeup Show. Most recently, Joe has been working closely with Pat McGrath. In his spare time, Joe has served for six years as program director at a camp dedicated to children of LGBTQ parents, as well as pursuing his work as a fine artist, photographer, playwright, actor and director. Decode the how-tos of drag with Jake Aebly, (AKA Davina DeVille). Jake will break down the steps, give you the lowdown on product and answer all your questions as you witness one of his genius transformations first-hand.

ABOUT JAKE AEBLY
NYC-based Jake Aebly is a makeup, hair, and special effects artist. He fell in love with the transformative properties of makeup while earning his BA in Theatre at UW Madison and began his career designing character makeup for theatrical productions as well as learning the art of drag. A graduate of Make-up Designory, Jake currently works as Retail Operations Manager for Alcone Professional Makeup Supplies and freelances for print, commercial, TV/film, events & fashion (including New York Fashion Week). Major clients include: Verizon, Dove, Disney, CBS and Nickelodeon - and his work has been featured in Collective Magazine, Lucy Magazine, Vice, Vogue Italia and The Wall Street Journal. When not working as an artist Jake can be seen regularly performing as his alter ego "Davina DeVille" at the iconic LIPS Show Palace. Join us and community favorite, star makeup artist James Vincent, our MC, for refreshments and lose yourself in the fun. Dance to the DJ’s 80’s-inspired sets while cheering on your fellow partygoers, who may choose to walk the “runway, “ showcase their looks, and get a little feedback from Mr. Vincent himself.

ABOUT JAMES VINCENT
Currently Director of Education and Artistry for The Makeup Show and The Powder Group, James’ passion for makeup has lead him to work in film, theater and television with celebrities (Lady Gaga, Reese Witherspoon, Jane Fonda), as well as editorial and runway. He has facilitated training and product development for MAC, Stila, Kevyn Aucoin, Armani, YSL and MAKE UP FOR EVER. His work has been seen on the cover of Paper and Atomic and in ID, V, Index, Wonderland, and Surface. He has been a beauty expert on The Today Show as well as key artist for American Idol. He contributes to countless blogs and publications including his weekly series “Double Dare” for Refinery29 and a column for Beautylish.
