The MAKE UP FOR EVER Academy has wanted to accompany the Croq'l'espoir association's Christmas Tree event held at the Concorde Montparnasse Hotel with a makeup workshop to support sick children. Three students volunteered, all wanting to enlighten kiddies' faces. The event took place on Saturday 14th December and twenty children aged 4 to 12 - boys and girls - gathered around the Christmas Tree and some lollies. And cookies. And muffins.

Shy at first ("I just want a star on my cheek"), the makeup workshop quickly got very popular with little girls: two butterflies, a princess and three Hello Kittys! Our students were very patient and listened to the kids' wishes, offering glitters and paint of so many different colors. As the first boy approached the makeup stations and our students to request a Batman mask, a couple of others followed - a lion and a clown.
We also secretly helped Santa: a little white in the beard and eyebrows and he's never looked so good!

Came 4pm and the distribution of gifts by Santa: all children were spoilt - dolls, electric cars, beads, drawing kits... No shyness anymore among the group, the room was filled with smiles and laughter and sparkling eyes (and faces - so much glitter!). The little girl who just wanted a star on her cheek candidly asked if she could makeup a lady from the association. What a surprise it was when she drew a perfect heart, handling with so much professionalism the brush and makeup. A future pro! The other kids followed in, making up the hotel's personnel, their parents and even an Academy member.

The afternoon was full with joy and everyone was happy with this event. Many thanks to Margot, Pauline and Tina who embraced this event with all their heart and helped those kids feel great right before Christmas.
