Do you accept international orders?
Regrettably, we are unable to process international orders at this time. If you wish to buy MAKE UP FOR EVER products, we suggest exploring our websites in France (FR), Europe (EU), Japna (JP), the United Arab Emirates (AE), Saudi Arabia (SA), and Kuwait (KW).
Do you ship to Puerto Rico, Guam, Hawaii, or Alaska?
We ship to Hawaii and Alaska using Express Shipping only.
Unfortunately, we do not ship to Puerto Rico or Guam at this time.
Can I use a freight forwarding service?
We are unable to ship to freight forwarding services. All orders must be sent to a valid street address.
Can I ship to a hotel, PO Box, APO, FPO, or DPO
All orders ship via UPS and must be sent to a physical street address. We are unable to deliver to hotels, PO Boxes, APO, FPO, or DPO addresses.
How do I place an order?
Shop your favorite MAKE UP FOR EVER products by adding items to your bag and proceeding to checkout. You’ll be asked to enter your shipping and payment details before confirming your order. Once completed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your order number.
What shipping methods do you offer?
All orders ship via UPS and must be sent to a physical address. Please make sure to provide accurate address information, including city, state, and zip code, to prevent any errors or delays in shipping. Once an order is submitted, we cannot make changes to your shipping address. To ensure same-business-day processing, please submit your orders by 12:00 pm US Eastern Time. Orders placed after 12 pm EST will be shipped on the next business day. Orders made during the weekend will be processed on the following business day.

What if I place an order and the items is out of stock?
If a product is out of stock, the item will automatically be removed from your order, and you will receive an email detailing which product was removed. You will not be charged for this item, and we will ship the remaining item(s) to prevent shipment delays.
If your entire order is cancelled, the pending hold will automatically drop from your payment method within 3-5 business days. For more information about the removal of authorization holds, please contact your issuing bank or credit card company.
We suggest joining the waitlist so that you are notified when the item is back in stock. Just go to the product page, choose the product you want, and click Join The Waitlist. Enter your email in the box.
How can I track my order?
If you placed your order with a registered MAKE UP FOR EVER account, you can check the status of your order and view your 6 month order history by visiting the "My Orders" page in your account. Once your order ships, we will email you a tracking number. If you placed your order as a guest, please contact our Customer Service department and one of our agents would be happy to assist you.
Can I edit or cancel my order once it has been placed?
Once an order is placed, our system begins processing it immediately. Because of this, we are unable to modify or cancel the order. Please double-check your information before submitting your order to ensure its correct.
Does makeupforever.com have a maximum purchase policy?
We must limit orders to ten of any single item. Please note all orders are subject to review. Orders are intended to be sold exclusively to end buyers for their personal needs and are not intended for resell or commercial purposes. If resale or commercial activity is suspected, orders can be cancelled.
Orders Issues
I am receiving an error message during checkout
If you receive an error message while placing your order, please contact your bank to insure there are sufficient funds available. Verify that the credit card and billing information are entered correctly and match the information on your financial statement. If the problem persists, do not attempt multiple orders, and contactour customer service team.
My order was canceled. Why am I still being charged?
Orders can be cancelled if the information entered at checkout could not be verified or if they fail to meet our shipping terms. You have not been charged for this order. When an order is placed, your issuing bank will place a temporary hold to reserve funds equivalent to your pending purchase amount. In the case that your order is unsuccessful, the authorization is released automatically. The expiration time frame (typically 5-7 business days) is set by the issuing bank for your payment card. For more information about the removal of authorization holds, please contact your issuing bank or credit card company.
What is a payment authorization hold for on online order?
When an order is placed, your issuing bank will place a temporary hold to reserve funds equivalent to your pending purchase amount. This hold will be released automatically once your order has shipped and payment is authorized. To ensure timely assistance, please report all issues within 48 hours of receipt. Unfortunately, we cannot process claims after this period.
Important: Keep the original packaging and the damaged or defective product for inspection. If the product is not available, we will not be able to process a claim. Once we confirm the item is damaged or defective, we will provide next steps.
If you didn’t purchase your product on our website, you’ll need to return it to the original retailer where it was purchased.
My order is marked delivered but I haven't gotten it.
If your tracking shows that your package was delivered but you can’t locate it:
The driver may have placed your package in a safe spot out of plain sight or protected from harsh weather. In some cases, it may take an additional 24–48 hours to appear as delivered.
If more than 48 hours have passed, please contact us immediately and include your order number and full shipping address so we can open an investigation to help locate your package.
I was charged twice for a recent order.

I never received my order confirmation.
Check your spam or junk folder, as automated emails can sometimes be filtered there. If you have a registered account, you can log into your account at MAKEUPFORVER.com to view your recent orders. If you do not have an account, please contact our Customer Service team with your name and email address used at checkout.
My delivery address is wrong or incomplete. How do I change it?

We gladly accept returns for unopened or gently used products within 30 days of purchase. Please note that exchanges are not available.

How do I star a return?
Complete the return form enclosed in your original order and include it with your return along with your item and original product packaging. You can find your order details on your order confirmation email or packaging slip. Incomplete, inaccurate, or missing return forms will increase processing time.

How long does it take to process my refund?
Once a package is received at our facility, the return and refund process can take 21 business days to be completed. You will receive an email when your return is processed, and your refund has been issued.
How do I exchange a product?
We regret that we’re currently unable to offer exchanges. You are welcome to return the item for a full refund and repurchase the desired item. You can find more information on our return process

How can I return a product purchased from another retailer?
If you didn’t purchase your product on our website, you’ll need to return it to the original retailer where it was purchased.

How do I use a promo/coupon code?
To redeem a promo/coupon code, simply enter your code in the section marked “Do you have a promo code?.” This can be found on the right of the shopping bag on desktop or below the shopping bag on mobile. Promotional offers with no codes required will be applied to the order if the order meets the requirements of eligibility. When a code is accepted, it will be displayed as applied. Important note: One (1) promo/offer code may be used per order. This may include automatic offer codes. Promotional offers and discounts may not be applied to Pro (Backstage Cardholder) orders or previously placed orders.
Can I use multiple promo codes on one order?
Only one promo code can be applied per order. Offers cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.

Ensure that you are in ample natural lighting on the front of your face. Avoid strong focus lighting on the top, back, and sides of your face.
How can I get product samples?
We currently do not mail out samples by request.
I cannot find my favorite Make Up For Ever product anymore. Why is that?
We apologize if you are no longer able to find your favorite product. On occasion we have to discontinue products to make room for new launches, as well as ensure that our offerings feature the latest ingredients and technology.
When do Make Up For Ever products expire?
The period after opening is indicated by an image near the recycling logo that looks like an opened jar with "6m" or "12m" written inside it. That means that product is to be used within 6 months or 12 months after opening.
It is important to note that websites and other calculators are not verified sources for determining the expiration of products. If you have any concerns about a particular product, please contact us and provide the date and place of purchase, product description, and batch number.
How can I retail Make Up For Ever products or become a distributor?

Do Make Up For Ever products contain heavy metals?
At MAKE UP FOR EVER, we do not add heavy metals, including lead, to our products. Additionally, trace elements of heavy metals are carefully checked in all raw materials to comply with strict regulations in the country in which they are sold and ensure maximum product safety for consumers.
Do Make Up For Ever products contain parabens?
In 2009, we eliminated the use of parabens in our product formulations. While products launched before that date may contain parabens, all our new launches are paraben-free.
Are Make Up For Ever products vegan?
There are currently no international standards or regulations defining vegan cosmetics. Our aim is to ensure consumer safety while respecting animal life. We do not test our products on animals and animal-derived ingredients are banned except for the use of a few ingredients justified by the non-sacrifice or non-suffering of the animal and/or absence of a substitute.

Does Make Up For Ever test on animals?
We do not test products or the ingredients used in our cosmetics on animals unless required by law. We abide by this principle since 1989, long before the ban on animal testing was instituted by the European Union in 2013. We are deeply convinced that animal testing must come to an end and we are actively working on the development, validation, and acceptance of alternative methods to animal experimentation.
Are Make Up For Ever products gluten free?
We do not use gluten as an ingredient in our cosmetics products. All the raw materials derived from cereals such as wheat, barley, rye, and oats, undergo a thorough purification process to remove the gluten. An internal check ensures the quality of the purified raw material from our supplier.
Despite this high standard, very small traces of gluten can still be present after the purification process, but they do not pose any health risk to consumers due to an extremely low concentration. Indeed, as gluten is not absorbed through the skin, no adverse reactions to gluten have ever been reported.
We may recommend that consumers who suffer from gluten intolerance carefully read the ingredient listings on its cosmetic products and verify the absence of the following ingredients: “triticum vulgare” (wheat), “avena sativa” (oats), “secale cereal” (rye) and “hordeum distichon” (barley).

What are the Make Up For Ever Pro Member benefits?
All Backstage Card members receive a complimentary discount depending on their level of approval and will also receive exclusive pro information about the brand and its pro programs and education. The Backstage Card discount is non-transferable, and all orders placed using the discount must use a credit card in the same name.
