RETURN POLICY

 

We will gladly accept returns for any unopened or gently used products within 30 days of purchase through our website. We are unable to offer exchanges. Products purchased on MAKEUPFOREVER.COM cannot be returned in store.

Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment. Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded. Please allow up to 21 business days for your refund to be issued. The time to post a credit to your account can vary and is determined by the issuing bank.

ONLINE PURCHASE RETURNS

To make a return:

- Complete the return form enclosed in your original order or available for download and include it with your return along with your item and original product packaging. You can find your order details on your order confirmation email, packaging slip, or here. Incomplete, inaccurate, or missing return forms will increase processing time.

- The return costs are the responsibility of the customer. We suggest that you ship your return via a traceable service to ensure delivery. Any risk related to the return of the product(s) is the responsibility of the customer.

MAKE UP FOR EVER monitors return activity and reserves the right to deny returns that, in its sole discretion, do not meet the return policy requirements, in instances of abuse, or for items that were re-sent at no cost following a report of non-receipt. Returns that are denied will not be returned to you.

 

IN STORE PURCHASE RETURNS

If an item is purchased at our Pro Studio, Sephora, Sephora inside Kohls, Kohls.com, Macys.com, or Nordstrom.com, please contact the retailer directly regarding their return policy. Products bought at these retailers cannot be returned to MAKEUPFOREVER.COM.

 

KLARNA REFUNDS

Refunds are processed in different ways depending on the status of your payment schedule. Depending on your financial institution, it could take an additional 14 days from the date the refund is issued. Please visit our Klarna FAQ.

Full Refund

Once the refund is registered against your order, any remaining payments will be cancelled and the already paid amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

Partial Refund

If the partial refund is greater than the remaining balance of your order, the refund amount will be deducted from the outstanding balance and the difference will be credited to the original payment method.

If the partial refund is less than the remaining balance of your order, the amount will be deducted from the outstanding balance and spread evenly across the remaining payments. You can view any updates to your payment plan in the Klarna app.

 

DAMAGED AND DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

When your MAKEUPFOREVER.COM order arrives please inspect the package for any damage or defects. It is normal for the shipping package to show some wear, however, if you think a product in your shipment is damaged or defective, please send us an email to info@makeupforeverusa.com within 48 hours of receiving your order. Be sure to include the following information for fastest service.

  • Order Number
  • Item Description
  • Picture of the damage or defect
  • Picture of the outer shipping box indicating any damage or wear
  • Picture of the shipping label located on the shipping box.

To ensure prompt resolution, please keep the original shipping package and the damaged or defective product for inspection. If, after having examined the product, we confirm that it is damaged or defective, we will provide you instructions for returning the damaged or defective product to us at our expense and issue a replacement. Your original shipping and handling charges will not be refunded. However, any replacement for a damaged or defective product will be shipped to you free of charge.
