MAKEUPFOREVER.COM will gladly accept returns for any unopened or gently used products within 30 days of purchase through our website.

To make a return please:

•Complete the Return Form enclosed in your original order or available for download and include it in your return package along with your items.

•Returns must be sent prepaid to the address listed below

•We suggest you ship your return via a traceable service to ensure delivery.

•Upon acceptance of your return, the price paid for the product will be refunded to the original form of payment. Please allow 2-3 weeks from the shipping date for processing.

•Original shipping and handling charges will not be refunded.

•You will receive a confirmation email once your return is complete.

•Returns sent without a return form may increase processing time.


MAKEUPFOREVER.COM is unable to offer exchanges by mail.

If you purchased and receive products from a MAKEUPFOREVER.COM that are damaged or defective, please refer to the “Damaged or Defective Products” section below.

Products purchased on MAKEUPFOREVER.COM cannot be returned to a MAKE UP FOR EVER boutique or Sephora. All products must be returned to the retailer through which it was purchased.

If an item is purchased at Sephora, please contact Sephora regarding their return policy. If an item is purchased at a MAKE UP FOR EVER Boutique, please call that Boutique directly. A list of stores can be found here.

In Store Purchase Return

If you’d like to return a product purchased at one of our boutiques, please return it to the location where it was purchased. Returns must be accompanied by a valid receipt within 30 days of purchase; credits will be issued to the original form of payment. All unused purchases associated with a makeup service, or purchased with a discount, are only eligible for an even return if accompanied by a valid receipt within 30 days of purchase.

Temporary Extended Returns Policy Due to COVID-19


For product purchases made in Make Up For Ever Boutiques on or after February 15, 2020, we will accept in-store returns, with the receipt, within 30 days of Make Up For Ever Boutiques' re-opening.

To ease returns for online orders, we have adjusted our current 30-day return policy and increased it to 60 days.

Damaged and Defective Products

When your MAKEUPFOREVER.COM order arrives, please inspect the package for any damage or defects. It is normal for the shipping package to show some wear, however, if you think a product in your shipment is damaged or defective, please contact us immediately using our contact form or call us on 1-855-575-3820. Please provide the order number along with your email address and phone number for fastest service. To ensure prompt resolution, please keep the original shipping package and the damaged or defective product for inspection. If, after having examined the product, we confirm that it is damaged or defective, we will provide you instructions for returning the damaged or defective product to us at our expense and issue a refund. Your original shipping and handling charges will not be refunded. However, any replacement for a damaged or defective product will be shipped to you free of charge.
